Kimberley Seldon's new website exudes poise & personality

Peek into how we brought Kimberley's vibrant personality to life online, and prompt potential clients to book paid consults. 

Kimberley and her Director of Operations Cheryl Horne felt that their original website felt flat and outdated.

A chief goal was to drive site visitors to a paid consultation with Kimberley, and to showcase Kimberley's work and experience in an inspired way. 

Over the past 5 years, she has narrowed her ideal client and so updated branding needed to speak to clients with country estates and still showcase her city work. 













Kimberley Seldon is a leading interior designer, serving Toronto, Creemore and Santa Monica.  She the go-to design expert for Canadian daytime TV show, Cityline, and specialises in new builds and country estates.

What we created

Increase paid consultations: We took a look at where current users got stuck using the current site, and interviewed Kimberley's booking manager to find out common questions clients ask ahead of booking. Next, using targeted and messaging we made clear the benefits and expectations and created 3 distinct ways to book the consult. 

Showcase Kimberley's design work: In her old site, her portfolio was hard for users to explore. We created custom galleries with editorial descriptions of Kimberley's brief, process and results to create an inspired view into what clients can expect. 

Build authority and win clients: Kimberley's expertise is undoubted. We made sure it was clear, with dedicated speakers, press and coaching pages. I also interviewed past clients and learned they loved Kimberley's down to earth attitude, good advice and inspirational lifestyle which guided messaging and design. 













Kimberley desired a site that felt fluid, modern and accessible - and boosted paid consults.

Kimberley has a strong editorial presence. We created a site inspired by interior's magazines that feature her work which feels fresh and inspiring for the reader.

I kept Kimberley's business goals in mind as I built out a custom Showit website design that also feels totally on-brand with her voice and expertise.

 Showit's unique design capabilities allowed a dynamic site brimming with visual style and personality, from the editorial layout to handwritten fonts that mimic Kimberley's own handwritten design notes.
